A great supplemental food for your bird, Quiko brand egg food has been used by bird breeders for years.  The base for each variety of Quiko egg food is a very palatable, crumbled “cake,” which is rich in whole egg, an excellent source of protein and amino acids.  This crumble is blended with various seeds, vitamins, minerals and honey to create a supplemental food which is great to feed during times of stress such as being introduced to a new environment, moulting, or illness.

Because of its high palatability, Quiko egg food is often used as a carrier for vitamins or medications prescribed by vets.  Egg food can also be used to coat moist fruits or vegetables to encourage the bird to expand its diet.
